Scholarships
Our club awards $5700 in scholarships each year.
$3500 is presented to women students at the University of Guelph,
based on academic achievement:
$2,000 in the Fall Semester
to the female student who has the
highest cumulative average in Semester 5 or 6 in the programs of
B.Sc. (Eng.)
B.A. (College of Physical Engineering and Science)
or
B.Sc. (College of Physical and Engineering Science).
$1,000 to a female
student in the Fine Arts program.
Preference is given to graduates
of a Wellington County secondary school.
This award is funded by the
$10.00 scholarship fee in the annual membership fee
and by individual donations.
$500 to a female student in the
Department of Human Health
and Nutritional Sciences,
College of Biological Science.
This award comes from the interest generated by the Endowment Fund,
created by the generosity of individual donations over the last decade.
The fund currently stands at $24, 350.

CFUW Guelph offers three
bursaries totaling $1200
to female students at Conestoga College.
These awards are designated for students in
Wellington County who demonstrate financial need.
Potential recipients should contact the College Awards Office.

CFUW Guelph provides a
$500 scholarship for a
young female residing in Guelph/Wellington
who has achieved high marks
in the Kiwanis Music Festival,
and who intends to continue
her studies in music.
CFUW Guelph provides
a $500 scholarship to a female musician through
the Edward Johnson Music Foundation.
